The Role – IMMEDIATE START

Platinum Painting & Maintenance are seeking a talented Qualified Tradesman Painter to join our team in Newcastle. You will be responsible for providing high-quality painting services to our diverse range of residential and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Interior & Exterior painting on residential, commercial and strata properties
• Meeting deadlines while maintaining high quality work
• Preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, gapping, filling and priming to a high standard
• Applying paint, stains, and other finishes to walls, ceilings and other surfaces using brushes, rollers and spraying equipment
• Experience with spray painting equipment is preferred but not required
• Mixing and matching colours to client specifications
• Performing minor repairs and maintenance on surfaces as needed
• Providing excellent customer service and ensuring client satisfaction
• Adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organised work environment

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Tradesman Painter (cert 3 in Painting & Decorating at TAFE)
• Own tools
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
• Permanent resident of Australia
