Dynamic Civil WA is seeking an experienced 3D Machine Control (Leica) Track Loader Operator to join our professional team on a full-time basis in this specialised role in civil construction. Specific 3D Machine Control experience is a must-have requirement for this position.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Operate track loaders (e.g., Bobcat T76/T86) for detailed excavation, earthworks, and site preparation
- Use 3D Machine Control (Leica) systems to achieve millimetre-accurate grading and trimming
- Read and interpret civil plans, site drawings, and survey data
- Excavate, backfill, and compact for footings, drainage, driveways, pads, and car parks
- Load, move, and place materials such as soil and gravel to specification
- Coordinate on-site with foremen, engineers, and tipper truck drivers
- Identify and report ground condition issues or plan discrepancies
- Conduct daily pre-start checks and report maintenance needs
- Follow all safety procedures, including locating and protecting underground services
- Record machine hours and productivity, and document any incidents or changes
Experience & attributes:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with 3D Machine Control (Leica/Icon preferred)
- Minimum of HR Licence and White Card required
- Strong understanding of civil construction plans and set-out procedures
- Final trim experience highly regarded (especially for carparks and pads)
- Proven track record in commercial civil construction
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work well in a small, experienced team
- Great communication skills and ability to pinpoint and report site issues
- Full Australian working rights and current residence
