Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for product compliance, systems architecture, and product performance? Join a global leader in smart access solutions as a Systems & Compliance Engineer. In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure products meet stringent performance, safety and regulatory requirements across ANZ and Middle Eastern markets, while contributing to the development of next‑generation technologies. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on variety — from hands‑on testing and compliance oversight to system architecture, troubleshooting, and supporting new product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead product performance testing, including test plan preparation and test lab oversight
- Manage test equipment needs, calibration, and safe lab processes
- Ensure products meet all regulatory and compliance requirements across ANZ and Middle Eastern markets
- Maintain up‑to‑date regulatory documentation and liaise with consultants, labs, and global teams
- Develop system architecture, system documentation, and support connected product platforms
- Prototype new technologies and troubleshoot complex systems
- Prepare specifications, test reports, and assist with NPD project schedules using MS Project
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3+ years engineering experience in an electro‑mechanical or related field
- Experience with connected products, routers, network switches, databases, and electro‑mechanical systems
- Knowledge of wireless communication (WiFi, Bluetooth)
- Experience with IEC60335 product safety standards and EMC standards such as AS/NZS 4268
- Strong understanding of product development, testing methodology, and specification writing
- Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making, and communication skills
