About the role
Step into leadership, or grow confidently towards it, as part of a high-performing multidisciplinary team. This position offers a rare balance of leadership, autonomy, and clinical purpose, ideal for an experienced Speech Pathologist ready to shape a service while maintaining a meaningful, hands‑on caseload.
You’ll set clinical standards, support and supervise juniors and students, and collaborate closely with psychology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, dietetics and behaviour support to deliver truly integrated care. You’ll also contribute to service development, resources, and quality improvement, with full support from our leadership team.
We welcome both established senior clinicians and experienced Speech Pathologists ready to take the next step into a supported leadership position.

Salary:
$90,000 – $135,000 + super (based on experience, reviewed at 6 months)
Billable targets:
Structured for quality care, with adjusted expectations during leadership and supervision duties
PD:
$2,000 annual allowance + weekly internal professional development + external support from experienced clinicians in niche areas such as swallowing
Leave:
Up to 5 weeks available through flexible leave arrangements
Flexibility:
Full‑time or part‑time options with hybrid clinic/community work and flexible admin time
Tools:
iPad, computer, assessment library, paid software licences, full admin support
Pathway:
Clear progression to Clinical Lead or Department Manager, with salary and responsibility growth

About You
You’re a capable, confident clinician who values quality, collaboration, and growth. You’ll bring:
A recognised degree in Speech Pathology and current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership
Minimum 2 years’ experience working with paediatric, adult, or mixed caseloads
Strong skills in assessment, clinical reasoning, and family‑centred care
Confidence in supervising and mentoring junior staff and students
Current NSW Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Check, National Police Check, and a valid driver licence
Experience supporting clients with ASD, AAC, early intervention, literacy, feeding, or neurological rehabilitation
Confidence delivering training and education to parents, educators, and support teams
