As a Senior Lecturer in Early Childhood Education and Care, you will play a leading role in enhancing the student experience, delivering high-quality curriculum, and contributing to the Faculty’s research profile. You’ll bring a strong foundation in academic leadership, a passion for developing future educators, and a commitment to impactful research and collaboration.
You will make an impact by:
- Leading and delivering innovative, research informed teaching across Early Childhood Education and Care programs
- Designing, implementing and evaluating inclusive engaging curriculum in online, blended and face to face modes
- Contributing to the Faculty’s research priorities through publications, collaboration, and supervision of Honours and HDR students
- Supporting the academic growth of early career colleagues and fostering a culture of excellence in teaching
- Building partnerships with education and community stakeholders to enhance student outcomes and graduate employability
What you will bring
You’re a passionate educator and researcher committed to transforming early childhood education and empowering the next generation of teachers.
To succeed in this role, you will also need:
- A PhD or Professional Doctorate in Early Childhood Education and Care, or a closely related discipline, and an initial teacher education qualification
- Demonstrate excellence in tertiary level teaching, including curriculum development and delivery across diverse learning environments
- A developing or established track record of research or scholarship of teaching, including peer-reviewed publications and research supervision
- Experience in academic leadership, mentoring, or course coordination within a university setting
- A strong commitment to cultural inclusivity, equity, and student wellbeing across all aspects of learning and engagement

Your opportunity is:
- Full-time, fixed term (24 months) and continuing (permanent) opportunities available
- Located at either Coffs Harbour, NSW 2450, Gold Coast, QLD 4225, or Lismore, NSW 2480. Relocation assistance is available, making it easier to join our regional communities.
- ACAD Level C. The base salary ranges from $139,568 – $160,473 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $187,753.
