Access Metal Recycling is an Australian, family owned metal recycling business specialising in the collection and processing of scrap metal from our customer sites across NSW and the ACT.
This role involves operating an 8-wheeler rigid tipper, excavator and float, with work from our site and travel to regional NSW and the ACT to collect scrap metal from farms, factories and mine sites, loading with an excavator and delivering back to our yard for processing.
Responsibilities- Operate an 8-wheeler rigid tipper, excavator and float.
- Travel throughout regional NSW and the ACT to collect scrap metal from customer sites.
- Load scrap metal into the truck using an excavator and deliver it back to the yard for processing.
- Work independently from the site with strong organisational skills and a willingness to perform a variety of tasks.
- Competency operating tipper trucks, towing floats and semi-trailers, and chaining/securing loads.
- Experience operating excavators.
- Dangerous goods licence, or ability to obtain one.
- Ability to communicate with customers in a professional manner.
- Excellent attitude and work ethic to operate autonomously.
- Commitment to safety of yourself and others around you.
This is a full-time position. We will provide uniforms, work boots and PPE. You will be paid an attractive hourly rate and daily travel allowances, with overtime and bonus opportunities, and training, development and mentoring provided.
