As Pastry Chef, our client has constructed and designed this role to include an attractive salary of £35-40k, as well as additional Tronc dividends.

Xpress are delighted to be working with one of our Luxury properties based in Fife, owing to new changes our client is now looking to recruit a Pastry Chef to join this highly accredited culinary team.
Our client is looking to establish an award-winning reputation and in this appointment, the client is looking for someone who can help the overall company raise and push the boundaries of style and flair within this luxury setting.

The Job:

As Pastry Chef, you will be part of an existing senior culinary team led by the Executive Chef.
The Executive Chef is ideally looking for a Pastry Chef to be fully responsible for managing and developing the existing range of bread, desserts and savouries that will be produced within the property as they aim to offer the finest and freshest or all around Fife. As Pastry Chef, you must be able as part of your job to be able to lead from the front and be able to switch your talent and your skills from traditional hotel Afternoon teas to managing and developing in-house service periods as well as VIP dining and high profile events as and when needed.

The Person:

Owing to the seniority and responsibility of this remit: we are ideally looking for an experienced Pastry Chef or indeed a rising star operating at CDP level who can now demonstrate that knowledge, skill and drive regarding this application on why they are ready to potentially move up within their career. Applying candidates must be able to clearly demonstrate experience working within a 5-star resort level as well as being exposed to Michelin or high rosette level cooking within a busy operational environment. As Pastry Chef, you must be able to show that creative and passionate flair in all areas of responsibility across, bread, desserts and chocolates as a pivotal Chef, you must be able to communicate well, be hands-on and be a good organiser to make sure junior members are developing and enjoying working with you and the company.

Own transport is essential for this role, no live-in accommodation is available and sorry, no sponsorship is available either.
