The Job:
The main responsibilities in this Head Chef role are to assist and ensure the brigade delivers the very best, both service and product. You will be heavily involved with the Executive Chef in writing and designing new and exciting menus, you will ensure the profitability of the kitchen. Making sure that you and the brigade comply with all health and safety regulations, is at the heart of this business, it is all about training and developing all junior members of the team, and ensuring that all learning and development plans are completed thus helping to drive standards and retain enthusiastic and quality driven individuals passionate about food.
The Person:
The ideal candidate for this Head Chef role will have experience within a 4 or 5-star hotel or a rosetted restaurant. You will have kitchen finance knowledge, be able to demonstrate a great understanding of food and current trends, have the ability to work well under pressure and be proactive. This Head Chef role is ideally suited to a career-minded Chef looking for that new challenge. Your CV will show consistency and longevity in each of the roles you have held, it will also clearly demonstrate a cv that is at ease with premier and fine dining restaurant cuisine to a minimum 2 rosette level.
