Multi‑skilled Repair Technician at our Xpress Centre. Repairs vehicles with body‑work damage independently. Completes same‑day key‑to‑key vehicle repairs to the highest quality. Requires MET skills to new door fit, competency with flatliner/miracle pull systems, and high‑quality refinish work. Great opportunity to progress career in a fast‑moving forward‑thinking company.

Complete repairs from start to finish in a time‑sensitive environment to the highest quality. Inspect vehicles for damage appraisal, identify required new parts, liaise with central hub on repair details. Use own hand tools for MET tasks such as door replacement, bumper removal/refit, trim removal, and associated fittings. Operate Flatliner / Miracle pull equipment for larger repairs. Follow process and cover all refinish aspects, including 3‑stage systems. Process damage vehicles on internal body shop IT systems. Maintain cleanliness of the Xpress Centre. Process deposit payments for pre‑booked orders. Manage customer relationship through the full order cycle. Plan work schedule and manage time within the given day. Manage stock and reordering process to maintain product supply. Build effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders internally and externally. Work from other centres if required. Build relationships with local area work providers to support the proposition.

Ideal candidate: Work to deadlines and deliver quality workmanship every time. Reside within an hour of the dedicated centre. Independent and self‑managed time. Work effectively with the day shift. Think independently and problem solve. Communicate effectively with the contact centre. Own comprehensive hand‑tooling toolbox. Manage own consumable stock levels. Demonstrate and manage replacement parts. Innovative and creative, thinking of new ideas and innovations to sustain industry‑leading service. Work accurately and efficiently. Adapt to new business and working procedures. Understand the importance of caring for customers. Consistently deliver a high level of customer service exceeding expectations.

Qualifications: Proven and current body shop experience. Repair technician experience in MET, plastic repairs, metal panel and paint refinishing. Experience using hand‑held PDA/tablet devices. Understanding of BSI 10125 or body shop work procedures. Exceeding customers’ expectations and providing great customer service every time. Effective communication with different customers and stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and CRM systems. Full clean UK driving licence (essential). Preferably current qualification in ATA Senior Cosmetic Repair or NVQ equivalent (essential). Able to provide two years references, right to work in the UK, proof of address, and pass a Basic DBS check in line with industry compliance requirements.

Additional Information: The package contains the following: Competitive starting salary up to £35,640. Performance‑related bonus up to £45,000 OTE. 23 days holiday (3 reserved for Christmas shutdown). £2,000 loyalty bonus after 2 years service.
