Overview
Warehouse Operative (forklift driver) Crown Braunstone – XPO. We are recruiting a Warehouse operative/FLT driver on the day shift, 4 on 4 off, 0600–1800, for a new contract in Leicestershire. Based at a production facility, you’ll be responsible for picking and loading a factory fed warehouse operation.
What you’ll do on a typical day
- Handling and putting away palletised goods
- Stacking and handling pallets onto trailers
- Driving on-site loading efficiency and looking for ways to improve
- Putting pallets into the line feeder for production
What you need to succeed at XPO
- A track record of operating an FLT truck
- A focus on health and safety
- Experience within Warehousing would be beneficial
- Counterbalance licence (B1)
- Minimum of 2 years counterbalance experience
- Preferred but not essential experience with double handling (training will be given)
- Preferred but not essential experience in bulk stacking (training will be given)
Salary, benefits and more
Salary up to £12.97 per hour with a 1.25% increase for overtime. 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays), with option to buy additional days. Access to high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, workplace pension and other perks.
