We are currently looking to recruit a proactive Operations Manager to join our team at our Hatfield Regional Distribution centre. Our Hatfield site employs over 400 colleagues across the Fresh Milk and Pallet operation within the warehouse. The role will play a key part in the site’s Senior Leadership Team.

The salary on offer will be up to £55,000. We also offer 25 days’ holiday, plus bank holidays, and the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to various high street discounts, a salary sacrifice car scheme, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other benefits.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead, coach, manage, and develop the day shift management team
- Communicate and deliver business goals, prioritising activities as necessary
- Ensure compliance with company, customer, and legal standards
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
- Participate proactively in strategic projects
- Be responsible for daily labour planning
- Ensure compliance with delivery agreements from production sites
- Participate in projects, courses, and other development activities
