Here at XPO, we take our people seriously. We’re looking for a Transport Coordinator to join us on a full-time, permanent basis at our Evesham site, Worcestershire, on the 10am to 7pm or 12 noon to 9pm shifts, Monday to Friday.

Pay, benefits and more:

  • We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £29,000.
  • We offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Assist with the planning of routes and deputising for the planning during annual leave.
  • Work to and maintain the operational KPI’s and SLA’s with the customer.
  • Ensure all administrative traffic duties are carried out as necessary and to a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Liaise with line management to ensure the effective use of hire vehicles / sub contractors minimising the cost impact to the business.
  • Ensure that details of vehicle accidents are escalated to line management.
  • Ensure that defected vehicles are recorded on traffic sheets.
  • Debrief all the drivers on return for runs ensuring they have closed runs effectively and any issues are recovered.

  • Working knowledge of driver hours regulations.
  • Good geographical knowledge of the UK.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
  • Financial understanding.
  • Operational understanding of team roles.
