We’re looking for

a full-time, permanent Transport Administrator to co-ordinate the central operations in order to achieve business objectives and the needs of the customer. Working Monday to Friday core hours (with some flexibility – this is logistics after all).

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £27,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Ensure all administrative duties are carried out as necessary and to a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
  • To track and update all backhaul activity whilst liaising with key stakeholders.
  • To create and run operational and financial reports.
  • To use and maintain all IT based systems in the effective delivery of their role including SAP, Sphere & WTS.
  • Ensures that appropriate communication methods are used to provide information to both internal and external customers as required e.g. haulier comms, dealing with customer issues etc.
  • To ensure that all traffic planning activity is undertaken.
  • Prepare and raise Invoices and deal with any related queries.
  • To undertake any other reasonable task as required.
  • To always display the highest standards of customer service.
  • What you need to succeed at XPO:

  • Previous experience within a transport / logistics organisation would be desirable
  • Finance / Invoicing experience would also be desirable
  • Ability to work under pressure and react quickly to customer requirements
  • Effective Customer Service Skills
  • Ability to take a creative approach to problem solving.
  • Good geographical knowledge of the UK
