Overview
Join the Fleet Department at XPO Logistics as a Regional Fleet Compliance Auditor and play a key role in ensuring our operations meet the highest compliance standards. In this role, you’ll be fully accountable for auditing Fleet and Operator Licence compliance across all XPO sites, reporting directly to the Fleet and Compliance Director. You’ll support and advise locations on compliance with Operator Licence regulations, as well as XPO’s internal fleet policies and procedures. We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £39,000 per annum and a monthly car allowance/company car. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day / responsibilities
- Manage and audit the legal obligations of the Operator\’s Licences on behalf of the business
- Monitor and manage DVSA OCRS reporting and actions
- Provide internal and external assurance of vehicle fleet compliance
- Internal audits of XPO Logistics depots
- Implement internal policies and procedures ensuring compliance
- Work closely with the Regional Fleet Engineers
- Engage with statutory bodies and Enforcement Agencies
- Take ownership of all the fleet management database and supply KPI reports
What you need to succeed at XPO
- Extensive experience in Transport Legislation compliance
- International CPC
- Good understanding of Operator Licensing compliance
- Knowledge of DVSA, DVLA, DfT and enforcement agencies
- Proven experience communicating and building relationships with senior management
- Experience auditing operations and suppliers
- Experience managing projects and delivering to deadlines
- Engage with project teams and provide new business setup advice and assistance
- Experience supporting process improvement strategies
- Computer literate, ability to produce KPI and meaningful reports
- Ability to travel freely throughout the UK including nights away where necessary
