Here at XPO, we take our people seriously. We're looking for a Transport Coordinator to join us on a full-time, permanent basis at our Nuneaton site.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £28,000.

What you'll do on a typical day

  • To cost effectively plan and dispatch routes to achieve contractual delivery times, conducting remedial planning to effectively manage live changes to the plan.
  • To review the cost effectiveness of routes through KPI analysis, taking remedial action where necessary.
  • To ensure all administrative traffic duties are carried out as necessary and to a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
  • To liaise with line management to ensure the effective use of hire vehicles / sub-contractors minimising the cost impact to the business.
  • To ensure that details of vehicle accidents are escalated to line management.
  • To ensure that defected vehicles are recorded on traffic sheets.
