What you’ll do on a typical day
- Handle haulier and driver bookings, updating schedules with accurate information and references
- Ensure picking tickets and despatch notes are prepared and ready for the relevant shift
- Monitor and confirm that inbound and outbound deliveries are completed in full
- Liaise with internal teams, customers, and third-party hauliers to resolve queries quickly and professionally
- Support transport planning and update operational systems with relevant data
- Prepare basic reports and spreadsheets using Excel
- Assist with invoicing and related queries where required
- Provide a high standard of customer service, handling driver queries and concerns confidently
What you need to succeed
- Previous administrative experience
- Basic Excel skills and strong general computer literacy
- Experience in a warehouse or transport/logistics environment
