As a Driver, you’ll be delivering palletised products to various sites. Most routes are approximately 3 drops per day. You’ll work a minimum of 40 hours (plus overtime) per week on the Monday to Friday day shift from 0600 to 1700. In return for your hard work, we’ll offer you £12.60 per hour plus a £1.75 per hour subsistence bonus. You’ll also have access to high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, holiday pay, and many other perks. We provide ongoing CPC training, and through XPO University, relevant courses and apprenticeships to support your career progression in logistics.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Your daily start time will be 06:00
- You will be fully trained on your routes and role
- Safely operate your vehicle adhering to XPO standards
- Operate as a single man crew
What you need to succeed at XPO:
- A full UK driving licence with C entitlement
- No more than six penalty points; no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements
- A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
- Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
