To keep our business ahead, we need a crack team of Vehicle Maintenance Technicians to service and maintain our fleet. We’re looking for an experienced HGV Fitter/Mechanic to join us at our site in Leigh. You'll be working a night shift pattern and play a vital part in ensuring that our fleet is always maintained, serviced and safe.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Carry out MOT preparations, servicing and repairs on our fleet of HGVs
- Diagnose faults on vehicles
- Work on Rigids, Tractors and Trailers
- Knowledge of tail lifts an advantage
- Stripping, fitting and replacing components
What you need to succeed at XPO:
- Proven experience in an HGV Fitter/Mechanic role
- Relevant HGV mechanic qualification, such as BTEC or City & Guilds (desirable)
- A full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement (desirable)
