Are you looking to use your warehouse and FLT experience in a new role? Do you like the sound of working on a large, complex operation with one of the biggest names in logistics? Are you ready for your next challenge? We’re looking to bring in a Warehouse operative/FLT driver on the day shift, rotating 4 on 4 off days, for our new contract in Leicestershire. Based at their production facility, you’ll be responsible for picking and loading a factory fed warehouse operation.

Pay, benefits and more

We’re looking to offer a salary of £12.97 per hr with a 1.25% increase for any overtime and a 1.5% on a Saturday and Sunday. In addition, we offer 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.

What you’ll do on a typical day

  • Handling and putting away palletised goods
  • Stacking and handling palletised goods onto trailers
  • Driving on-site loading efficiency and looking at ways we can improve
  • Putting pallets into the line feeder for production

What you need to succeed at XPO

  • A track record of operating an FLT truck
  • A focus on health and safety
  • Experience within warehousing would be beneficial
  • Counterbalance license B1
  • Minimum of 2 years counterbalance experience
  • Preferred but not essential experience with double handling but training will be given
  • Preferred but not essential experience in bulk stacking but training will be given
