We are seeking reliable and professional HGV Class C+E Day Drivers for trunking operations. This role involves transporting goods between Boots in Beeston, Nottingham and distribution centres across the country. New passes accepted.

Full time and part time opportunities are available on this contract. Full time contracts cover a 5 out of 7 working shift pattern. Part time hours range from 1 shift per week up to 4, with overtime available. There are a variety of set AM start times available to suit individual needs.

In return for your hard work, we’ll offer you an hourly rate of £15.39

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Operate HGV Class C+E vehicles for trunking routes between hubs.
  • Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle checks.
  • Adhere to all road safety and compliance regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with our transport team.
  • Handballing may be required on certain routes.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

  • We’ll need you to have a full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement),
  • You’ll have no more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
  • A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
