We’re looking for full-time, permanent LGV C Day Drivers to join us at our site in Motherwell. Your journey may start off in a Wagon, but a whole new career could be in front of you—from Management, Sales, Warehousing, and more—just take the first step!
What you’ll do on a typical day
- Delivering between customer sites and making collections when required
- Safely operate your vehicle adhering to XPO standards
- Safe use of tail lift and pallet trucks for sites where no FLT is available
Pay, benefits and more
Day shift on a Monday to Friday schedule from 06:00 to 16:00, minimum 40 hours per week plus overtime.
Hourly rate: £13.04 plus £1.75 subsistence allowance. Benefits include high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, workplace pension, holiday pay, ongoing CPC training, and access to the XPO University for career progression and apprenticeships.
What you need to succeed at XPO
- A full UK driving licence (with C entitlement)
- ADR qualifications would be advantageous
- No more than six penalty points and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements
- A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
- Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
