Logistics done differently. Are you an HGV driver fed up with not knowing when you’re working next? We’re looking for flexible Class 1 HGV Drivers to join us at our site in Sherburn, on a permanent contract Tramping.
You’ll be supporting our Kingspan contract on a Monday to Friday shift pattern, nights out as and when required. The roles are direct deliveries and not multi-drop. Weekend overtime is also potentially available. In return for your hard work, we’ll offer you a competitive salary of £15.12 ph, £20.33 ph Sat, £23.46 Sun, this is based on an average of 48 hours per week, with the opportunity to work extra shifts on top! The role is PAYE. You will also be eligible to our My XPO benefits pages, featuring large high street discounts on your favourite brands!
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Making deliveries to Kingspan customers
- You will be driving new tractor units
- Our sites are fully compliant and you will be working in an environment that is highly safety driven
- No manual handling, all loads tipped by clients but potential for Moffet training in the future
- Adhering to all driving rules and regulations
What you need to succeed at XPO:
- We’ll need you to have a full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement)
- You’ll have no more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements
- A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
- Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
