We're looking for a full-time, permanent Warehouse Night Shift Supervisor to join us at our site in Gloucester. Your journey may start off in a warehouse, but a whole new career could be in front of you from Management, Sales, Transport and more, it just takes the first step!
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you'll be working in our busy operations department (full training will be given). You'll be working 2100-0600 each week on the Monday to Friday night shift. In return for your hard work, we'll offer you a competitive hourly rate of £19.53 including shift allowances. You will also receive 21 days holiday (plus bank holiday) increasing to 26 days after 4 years service. You'll also have access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks as well as ongoing training.
What you'll do on a typical day:
- Organise a small team, including planning workloads and delegating tasks
- Creating a productive environment using appropriate strategies
- Managing KPI's for team performance with daily review
- Assisting managers in day to day running of operation
- Ensuring all H&S incidents are reported through appropriate platforms
- Motivating the team to achieve organisational goals
What you need to succeed at XPO:
- Ideally an FLT licence
- MHE experience would be very advantageous
- A willingness to learn and build a new career
- An interest or previous experience in Warehousing
