We’re looking to bring in a talented Warehouse Supervisor, to manage and oversee all processes and procedures, to ensure all KPIs and targets for your team are achieved across the operation for our new contract in Gotham. This is a shift pattern working 06:00 to 14:30 OR 14:30 to 22:30 Mon to Fri.
Pay, benefits and more: We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £30,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a salary sacrifice car scheme, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Supervision and overseeing of the operation, ensuring shifts are run effectively
- Managing customer relationships, both indirectly and face to face on site
- Driving on-site loading efficiency and looking at ways we can improve
- Lead, manage and engage your team to get the best out of the shift.
- Ensure compliance of all relevant H&S legislation and local procedures, including reporting and investigation of accidents and/or near-miss incidents or Hazards which could lead to a Major Accident Hazard initiator
- Ensure full compliance with any roles and responsibilities allocated within the On-site Emergency Plan.
- Provide regular feedback relating to the progress of work and end of the day / shift handover information.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
- A track record at a supervisory or management level within a fast-paced warehouse operation
- A strong personality with the ability to effectively manage drivers, push for operational excellence and challenge the status quo
- IT literate - Good understanding of Microsoft office packages (Word & Excel)
- IOSH Qualification
