Transport Night Supervisor

We're looking for a talented Night Transport Supervisor to join us, working Monday to Friday at our new site in Swindon. \n Pay, benefits and more: \n We're looking to offer a salary of up to £43,750 (inc shift allowance). You'll have access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks. \n What you'll do on a typical day: \n \n Co-ordinate the transport operations on site and/or on customer premises to meet both customer and company expectations \n Liaise with line management to ensure the effective use of company vehicles/ hire vehicles / subcontractors minimising the cost impact to the business \n Ensure that all drivers are compliant with the working time directive regulations and that any accidents/incidents are investigated in a timely manner \n \n \n Responsible for the night time transport operation: \n Ensure customer collections are planned and completed to time. \n Ensure that night nightwork operations are despatched timely to achieve service level agreements. \n Dispatch & debrief drivers as per company policy. \n Ensure all paperwork is completed and filed correctly \n Ensure depot compliance is up to date on Tacho management system, and all infringements are signed off in a timely manner. \n Investigate and rectify any missing mileage \n Manage breakdowns and defects in a timely manner \n Send appropriate, timely and accurate handover information \n \n \n \n Fleet compliance, including planned MOTs and servicing. \n Health and Safety management \n \n What you need to succeed at XPO: \n \n A good understating of fast-paced transport teams \n Excellent communication skills - you'll be speaking regularly with various stakeholders \n Good understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel and Outlook \n \n Be Part of Something Big: \n We strive to create an inclusive environment for all our colleagues, where everyone feels welcomed, empowered and where you can bring your true self to work.
