Here at XPO, we take our people seriously. Were looking for a talented Transport Coordinator to join us on a permanent basis, working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern covering the Night shift.?This is for our contract based in Thurrock.

Were looking to offer a salary of up to £34,000 plus a night shift allowance of £2,400 per annum.

What youll do on a typical day:
- Prepare work for our customer and pre-brief drivers at the Start of shift
- Co-ordinate the transport operations on site to meet both customer and company expectations
- Liaise with line management to ensure the effective use of Customer vehicles / subcontractors minimising the cost impact to the business
- Daily Report of customer KPIs and volume calculations
- Execute customers plan and make changes where necessary to limit stock outs
- Ensure that all drivers are compliant with the working time directive regulations and that any accidents/incidents are logged and communicated to management and customer in a timely manner
- First line of communication for the driver workforce.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
- A good understanding of fast-paced transport teams
- Excellent communication skills youll be speaking regularly with various stakeholders. xgikmsk
- Good understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel and Outlook
