- Salary of up to £45,000 per annum.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Manage a vehicle fleet and personnel ranging from HGV drivers to forklift drivers.
- Manage absence, sickness and holiday in line with XPO procedures.
- Undertake investigations and disciplinary procedures as required.
- Ensure compliance with site policies and procedures.
- Supervise operations, motivate and encourage the team to perform to the best of their ability.
- Understand customer requirements, update on customer orders and provide general customer feedback as required.
- Maintain reports on productivity, including mitigation and opportunities to improve.
- Support the investigation of incidents as required.
- Ensure all processes and procedures are followed to operate a safe and efficient environment.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
- Previous knowledge of working within a transport environment.
- Knowledge of compliance, QHSE & CPC (desirable).
- Exposure to working in a fast-paced environment.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft packages and working with IT systems.
- Supervisory experience or demonstrable experience of stepping up to cover a supervisory role.
- Demonstrable experience of meeting customer requirements and objectives/KPIs.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
