If the answer is yes, then we are looking for someone like youto join our team working on the British Gypsum contract in Barrow Upon Soar a Weighbridge Operator.
The main purpose of the weighbridge operator is to ensure the smooth operation of the Weighbridge facility, acting as the first and last point of contact for all staff and contractors.
The operator will also be responsible for ensuring that all legal and contractual obligations are met, including site inductions completed and weight checks
carried out.
The weighbridge operator acts as a key component of the transport function, liaising with them regularly to ensure the delivery of a first-class service to our customer.

You will be working Mon-Fri onrotating shifts of Monday to Friday rotation AM ( week 1 ) and PM shift ( week 2 ) AM 05:00-13:30PM 13:30-22:00.
In return for your hard work, well offer you a competitive salary of £30,559.28 ( additional £2.73 between 18:00-06:00 )

What youll do on a typical day:
- To weigh in and out all vehicles, recording both weighs and ensuring there are no variances that are outside the tolerance.
- Comply with all legislative requirements, Company policies and procedures and customer-specific requirements.
- Ensure that all personnel entering site have been inducted using the rapid induct system.
- Check that only authorised vehicles and people enter on to the site. Ensure that all vehicles that enter and exit site are logged. xgikmsk
- Issue site rules to all drivers.
- Ensure the XPO operating areas are compliant with hygiene standards as dictated by the Contract management team Yard areas, loading areas etc
