Logistics done differently. We are looking to bring on board a Customer Service Advisor to join our busy team in Gotham, working full-time on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. You will be the first point of contact for British Gypsum and XPO Transport sites, helping us deliver excellent service through strong communication, problem solving and proactive issue prevention. If you enjoy speaking to people, finding solutions and managing a varied workload, this role is for you.

What you will do on a typical day:
- Be the first point of contact for customer queries across British Gypsum and XPO sites
- Monitor inbound/outbound calls and maintain service standards
- Prevent issues and provide creative solutions when challenges arise
- Carry out root cause analysis and support improvements
- Handle internal claims queries
- Support KPI delivery and daily operational communication
- Assist the management team and complete accurate shift handovers
- Promote a positive, engaged team environment and continuous improvement
What you need to succeed at XPO:
- Experience in a distribution, transport or warehouse customer service environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confident with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Proactive, reliable, organised and able to work independently
- Flexible approach with strong problem-solving skills
