We're looking for a full-time, permanent Warehouse Night Shift Supervisor to join us at our site in Gloucester. Your journey may start off in a warehouse, but a whole new career could be in front of you from Management, Sales, Transport and more, it just takes the first step!
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you'll be working in our busy operations department (full training will be given). You'll be working 2100-0600 each week on the Monday to Friday night shift. In return for your hard work, we'll offer you a competitive hourly rate of £19.53 including shift allowances. You will also receive 21 days holiday (plus bank holiday) increasing to 26 days after 4 years service. You'll also have access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks as well as ongoing training. We also have the XPO University offering relevant courses to your career progression as well as apprenticeships, giving you the opportunity to navigate your future logistics career with XPO.
What you'll do on a typical day:
- Organise a small team, including planning workloads and delegating tasks
- Creating a productive environment using appropriate strategies
- Managing KPI's for team performance with daily review
- Assisting managers in day to day running of operation
- Ensuring all H&S incidents are reported through appropriate platforms
- Motivating the team to achieve organisational goals
What you need to succeed at XPO:
- Ideally an FLT licence
- MHE experience would be very advantageous
- A willingness to learn and build a new career
- An interest or previous experience in Warehousing
