Logistics done differently. We’re looking for an experienced HGV Fitter/Mechanic to join us at our site in Motherwell. You’ll be working the Monday to Friday Day Shift. Our hours of cover are 06.00 - 18.00 split into 2 shifts 06.00 - 15.30 & 08.30 - 18.00.
You’ll be working with an established team on a diverse range of vehicles and trailers including MAN, Renault & Mercedes. We’ll need you to have your City & Guilds 1, 2 & 3 (or equivalent), experience in fault diagnosis and repair as well as stripping, fitting and replacing components. Preferably, you’ll have CE entitlement on your licence, however, this isn’t essential. As the contract can have some irregularity of hours, you’ll need to have a flexible approach.

- Carry out MOT preparations, servicing and repairs on our fleet of HGVs
- Diagnose faults on vehicles
What you need to succeed at XPO:
- Proven experience in an HGV Fitter/Mechanic role
- Relevant HGV mechanic qualification, such as BTEC or City & Guilds (desirable)
- A full UK driving licence with CE entitlement (desirable)
