We are looking for a talented Transport Supervisor to join us, working Mon-Fri 6am-3pm at our Nissan site in Lutterworth.

What you'll do on a typical day:
- Responsible for the Operational Activity at the Nissan Renault operation in Lutterworth, involving daily interaction with our Key Customer Contacts on site, Fleet Management, Resource Management and reporting.
- Co-ordinate the transport operations on site and on customer premises to meet both customer and company expectations.
- Liaise with line management to ensure the effective use of hire vehicles/subcontractors, minimising the cost impact to the business.
- Ensure that all drivers are compliant with the working time directive regulations and that any accidents/incidents are investigated in a timely manner.
- Responsible for the daytime transport operation: Ensure that vehicles are planned properly, dispatch & debrief drivers as per company policy, ensure all paperwork is completed and filed correctly.
- Ensure depot compliance is up to date on Tacho management system, and all infringements are signed off in a timely manner.
- Investigate and rectify any missing mileage, manage breakdowns and defects in a timely manner, send appropriate and accurate handover.
- Fleet Compliance, including MOTs etc.
- Health and Safety management.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
- A good understanding of fast-paced transport teams.
- Excellent communication skills; you'll be speaking regularly with various stakeholders.
- Self-starter, that can think outside the box and hit the ground running.
- Good understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel and Outlook.
- Ideal candidate should have CPC qualification.
