Are you an HGV driver fed up with not knowing when you're working next? We're looking for flexible Class 1 HGV Drivers to join us at our site in Sherburn in Elmet, on a permanent contract.
Pay, benefits and more:
- You’ll be supporting our British Gypsum contract on a Monday to Friday shift pattern, working day shift.
- The roles are direct deliveries and not multi-drop.
- Weekend overtime is also available.
- In return for your hard work, we’ll offer you a competitive hourly rate of £16.59 for days, with the opportunity to work extra shifts on top!
- The role is PAYE.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Making deliveries to British Gypsum customers.
- You will be driving new equipment and pulling new trailers.
- Our sites are Gold Standard FORS compliant and you will be working in an environment that is highly safety driven.
- No manual handling, all loads tipped by clients.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
- We’ll need you to have a full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement).
- You’ll have no more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.
- A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
- Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
