Are you a hands-on Transport Manager ready for your big break? We are currently recruiting for a Transport Manager to be based at our site in Norwich, to support our ASHI (Anglian Safestyle Home Improvements) contract.
In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You will have access to a variety of high street discounts as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks including private health and dental care.
- Responsibility for the management of customer stock from receipt to final last mile delivery.
- Ensure all colleagues are appropriately inducted in quality, health, safety, and environment matters and any risks in the specific area of working practice, before commencing work.
- Be the point of escalation for Transport issues.
- Coach and manage all staff relevant to transport operation, Drivers, Shunters, and Admin.
- Monitor individual performance through the PDR and 1-2-1 programme.
- Fleet Management and Compliance.
- Previous experience supervising and developing a team within a transport environment is preferred.
- Every day you will need to have an eye on continuous improvement of operational efficiencies and fleet performance - do you have a track record of improving things?
- Transport Manager CPC essential.
