XPO TRANSPORT SOLUTIONS EUROPE - Logistics done differently. Here at XPO, we take our people seriously. We are looking for a talented HR Advisor to join us on a full-time, permanent basis covering our Hatfield site on our Arla contract.

  • Guide Managers through employee relations cases in real time, intervening and steering in the appropriate direction taking account of company policies, employment law, best practice and precedent.
  • Escalate cases to the HR Manager as necessary.
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc management information reports, as agreed, to support continuous improvement.
  • Assist in the design and delivery of development workshops in areas of HR best practice, to enhance knowledge and skills across the site.
  • Create and maintain a positive team culture, by actively working in collaboration with the wider HR & Payroll Team.

Experience required:

  • Experience of working in an HR advisory role, preferably in logistics and multi-site, undertaking a broad range of tasks including working with and advising line managers on employee relations issues.
  • Minimum one year HR Advisor level experience.
  • Flexibility to travel as and when required.
  • Experience of working in a Logistics/Transport/Manufacturing/FMCG environment.
  • Able to interpret and implement HR Policy and procedures.
