Here at XPO, we take our people seriously. Were looking for a talented Transport Planner to join us on a full-time, permanent basis on our Aylesbury site for Arla. Working a typical Monday to Friday, core working hours, youll support the planning activities, allocation of routes, and cos-effective sub-contracting for the site, ensuring our deliveries get out the door in a timely, safe and compliant manner.

Control outbound plan, ensuring all drivers are scheduled in order to achievecontractual delivery times.level of accuracy and professionalismTo achieve weekly and monthly KPIs as set by the business and / or Customer ServiceEnsures that appropriate communication methods are used to provide information todrivers and office staff in relation to planTo identify and highlight to management any potential improvement opportunitiesTo demonstratethe highest standards of customer serviceTo undertake any relevant training events in line with own personal developmentneeds and business requirementsGeneral admin duties in line with transport legislation, company policies andprocedures including WTD, Tacho master updatesTo ensure all drivers are within legal parameters and follow tachograph lawsDealing with permanent and agency drivers planningProblem solving with any issues or queries regarding the plan and/or with the driversA strong attention to detailAbility to work under pressure and to deadlinesCompetent decision makingManage ASH on a daily basis using WTD calander and Absence trackerMonitor Agency PVACreate and manage trend reportsWhat you need to succeed at XPO:A good understating of fast-paced transport teamsExcellent communication skills youll be speaking regularly with various stakeholdersGood understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel and OutlookBe part of something big.
