Logistics done differently. Are you a Class 1 Driver looking for the security of guaranteed full-time hours and a permanent contract? Do you want to work for one of the most forward-thinking and fast-growing logistics companies in the UK? How about working Monday to Friday with weekends off?
We are looking to recruit a full-time, permanent Class 1 HGV Tramper Driver to join us at our site in Grays. You’ll be guaranteed a minimum of 50 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, typically 05:00 to 16:00, with the odd 6th shift possibly available.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Single or multi-drop deliveries, generally a maximum of three per load
- Ensure the safe and legal operation of your vehicle at all times
- Typically, Mon to Fri - 05:00 to 16:00 - Flexibility required
- Expectation being Mon to Thurs Nights Tramping
What you need to succeed at XPO:
- Full UK driving licence (with CE entitlement)
- No more than six points on your licence (as well as no DD, DR or IN endorsements)
- Great knowledge of the UK roads nationally
- Element of manual offloading of product on occasion, so a level of physical fitness is required
- Flexibility to be out up to 4 nights per week
- Adaptability to drive Class 2 vehicles on occasion desirable
- HIAB experience preferable but not essential as training available
- Construction industry experience preferable but again not essential
- Full load restraining and product offloading training given
- Hands-on requirement
