We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Depot Administrator to support the day-to-day running of a busy operational site.

The successful candidate will manage a wide range of administrative duties, including payroll processing, purchase orders, training records and stock control.

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Depot Administrator to support the day-to-day running of a busy operational site.

The successful candidate will manage a wide range of administrative duties, including payroll processing, purchase orders, training records and stock control.

Pay, Benefits And More

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £30,000.

We offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days.

  • What You’ll Do On a Typical Day
  • Daily/weekly/monthly processing of payroll (exceptions, SSLs, subsistence, agency, corrections report checking)
  • Maintain stock for all site consumables (PPE, uniform, cleaning products, etc)
  • Subcon confirming costs, raising POs, receipting, invoicing queries
  • Raising all other POs via Coupa (vehicle hire, waste, facilities repairs, etc)
  • Maintain HR/People action tracker
  • Note/minute taking for meetings
  • Maintain site training matrix
  • Assist depot trainer with printing documents/processing paperwork
  • Maintain personnel & training files, moving from paper records to digital
  • New starter setups, issuing employment contracts
  • Car hire/hotel bookings for site visits/training courses
  • Logging queries/issues with HR Support for ungraded employees if they cannot be resolved locally
  • Assist colleagues with processing expense claims
  • Assist management by preparing correspondence for DPs, investigations, etc as required
  • What You Need To Succeed At XPO
  • Ability to work on own initiative and with minimal supervision.
  • Competent user of the Microsoft 365 (Office 365) suite.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
