Logistics done differently. We’re hiring a Transport Supervisor to work onsite at our customer site in Darton, Monday to Friday from 1:00pm to 9:30pm, overseeing admin tasks, HGV fleet maintenance, investigations, and QHSE activities—ideal candidates will have transport office experience and strong customer service skills.

Pay, benefits and more

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £33,014.21 per annum. We offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.

What you’ll do on a typical day

  • Update KPI reports and conduct PoD checks
  • Monitor PDA systems and handle incoming calls
  • Manage service schedules for HGVs, tractor units, and trailers
  • Liaise with maintenance providers to ensure compliance
  • Conduct vehicle-related investigations
  • Support site-level investigations and disciplinary processes
  • Contribute to site monitoring and QHSE goals through scorecard participation

What you need to succeed at XPO

  • Proven experience in a transport office environment
  • Knowledge of HGV vehicles and maintenance scheduling
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use

Desirable

  • CPC Qualified
  • Familiarity with systems such as Paragon, Masterpack, WTS, Sphere, or other PoD/planning tools
