Logistics done differently. Do you have previous warehouse experience? We’re looking for full-time, permanent FLT / Warehouse operatives to join us at our site in Milton Keynes. Your journey may start off in a warehouse, but a whole new career could be in front of you from Management, Sales, Transport and more, it just takes the first step!
As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll be working in our busy operations department (full training will be given). You’ll be working 40 hours per week on the Monday to Friday PM shift 1600-0030. In return for your hard work, we’ll offer you a competitive rate of £27,420. You’ll also have access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, holiday pay, and many other perks as well as ongoing training.
We also have the XPO University offering relevant courses to your career progression as well as apprenticeships, giving you the opportunity to navigate your future logistics career with XPO.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Operate FLT’s in a safe manner
- Loading and unloading our vehicles and storing goods in an organised manner
- There is a large amount of manual handling involving cages and larger items, so you must be happy to do the lifting and shifting!
What you need to succeed at XPO:
- FLT licence (Counterbalance license)
- MHE experience would be very advantageous
- You must be good with heights!
- A willingness to learn and build a new career
- An interest or previous experience in Warehousing
