We’re seeking full-time, permanent LGV CE Night Drivers to join us at our Motherwell site. Your journey may start with a Wagon, but a new career could be ahead in Management, Sales, Warehousing, and more—just take the first step!
As a Driver, you’ll work night routes, delivering between sites in our network and customer locations. You’ll work a minimum of 40 hours (plus overtime) per week, Tuesday to Saturday, starting at 03:00 am. In return, you’ll earn approximately £35,692 annually. Benefits include high street discounts, a cycle-to-work scheme, a workplace pension, holiday pay, and many other perks, along with ongoing CPC training. We also offer the XPO University with relevant courses and apprenticeships to support your career in logistics.
Typical duties include:
- Delivering between customer sites and making collections as required
- Safely operating your vehicle according to XPO standards
- Using tail lifts and pallet trucks safely where no FLT is available
Requirements to succeed at XPO:
- Full UK driving licence with CE entitlement
- ADR qualifications are advantageous
- No more than six penalty points and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements
- Valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
- Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
