How would you like a Class 1 driving job working a standard Monday to Friday shift? How about working with a modern fleet, all whilst learning new skills? We are currently recruiting Class 1 drivers to join our team in Ketton. You will be working Monday to Friday, 45 hours a week. We are offering an hourly rate of £15.50. Overtime is payable at £20.84 for Saturdays and Sundays, and £24.05 for holidays.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- You will safely drive our HGV Class 1 vehicles in a courteous manner.
- Undertake curtain‑sided trailer deliveries on behalf of XPO.
- Some manual work may be required.
- The role may include night out each week.
- All loads will be loaded/unloaded by the operating site/customers.
- All deliveries will be tracked and signed for using Epod technology.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
- Valid LGV C+E licence.
- An up‑to‑date CPC and DIGI card.
- No more than 6 points on your licence.
- No DD, DR or IN endorsements showing on your licence.
