We’re looking for full time, permanent, FLT drivers to join our team in Wakefield on the night shift, junction 41 off of the M1, working on our site where we partner British Gypsum. You\'ll be working a minimum of 42.5 hours per week onthe following shifts-
Mon-Thursday 2300-0700
Friday 2000-0500
Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to offer a salary of £14.62 per hr plus £2.73 additional between the hours of 1800-0600. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays). You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts including an Iceland discount card, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
· You will be working with Plaster products both by hand and by FLT
· Picking and assisting in loading goods in a safety conscious environment
· Loading and strapping vehicles and shunting duties if you have previous experience
· Effective use of MHE with on-going training available
Varied role could include but not limited to gatehouse duties, yard duties, H&S audits, inventory.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
· Previous experience in a similar position would be advantageous and previous shunting experience would also be desireable.
· You must have previous experience of Counterbalance Forklift Truck. You must have an in-date FLT Licence (R.T.I.T.B or equivalent)
. Metal Picking/Packing advantageous. Shunt experience advantageous.
· You must be a team player and able to move heavy products by hand if needed
