Here at XPO, we take our people seriously. We’re looking for a talented Transport Coordinator to join us on a full-time, permanent basis at our Doncaster site for our Wavin contract. Working Monday to Friday, although some flexibility is required to cover holidays.

- We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £28,000.
- We offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Allocate drivers, vehicles, and subcontractors to loads once the Paragon plan is issued.
- Calculate subcontractor rates and issue load details via email.
- Plan and coordinate backhauls where required.
- De-brief drivers in SHARP on a daily basis.
- De-brief subcontractor loads in SHARP once PODs are received.
- Maintain and work through POD backlogs where applicable.
- Keep the POD log up to date and chase outstanding PODs.
- Send completed PODs to Wavin daily.
- Check subcontractor PODs weekly and notify relevant stakeholders for PO raising.
- Deal with customer delivery queries as they arise.
- Carry out general office administration including filing, scanning, and document control.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
- Experience in a transport, logistics, or distribution office environment (preferred but not essential).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Confident using transport systems and Microsoft Office (training provided where needed).
- Good communication skills with drivers, subcontractors, customers, and internal teams.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn wider transport and supervisory duties.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet daily deadlines.
