Role Overview
As a Driver, you’ll work on night routes, delivering between sites and customer locations within our network. The role involves a minimum of 40 hours per week (plus overtime), working Tuesday to Saturday, with a start time of 03:00 am. In return, you’ll earn a salary of £33,902 (basic hours). Benefits include high street discounts, a cycle-to-work scheme, a workplace pension, holiday pay, and ongoing CPC training. Additionally, the XPO University offers relevant courses and apprenticeships to support your career progression in logistics.
Typical Day
- Delivering between customer sites and making collections as required
- Safely operating your vehicle in accordance with XPO standards
- Using tail lifts and pallet trucks where no forklift is available
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence with C entitlement
- ADR qualifications (advantageous)
- No more than six penalty points and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements
- Valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
- Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
