Logistics done differently. We’re hiring a Transport Supervisor to work onsite at our customer site in Darton, Monday to Friday from 2pm to 10pm, overseeing admin tasks, HGV fleet maintenance, investigations, and QHSE activities—ideal candidates will have transport office experience and strong customer service skills.
Pay, benefits and more: We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £33,000 per annum. We offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Update KPI reports and conduct PoD checks
- Monitor PDA systems and handle incoming calls
- Manage service schedules for HGVs, tractor units, and trailers
- Liaise with maintenance providers to ensure compliance
- Conduct vehicle‑related investigations
- Support site‑level investigations and disciplinary processes
- Contribute to site monitoring and QHSE goals through scorecard participation
What you need to succeed at XPO:
- Proven experience in a transport office environment
- Knowledge of HGV vehicles and maintenance scheduling
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use
