We are currently recruiting for a Night Transport Operator to support our distribution contract at our site in Worksop. Working 4on 4off – Nights.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £32,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 20 days holidays. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.
What You’ll Do On a Typical Day
- To cost effectively plan and dispatch routes to achieve contractual delivery times, conducting remedial planning to effectively manage live changes to the plan.
- To review the cost effectiveness of routes through KPI analysis, taking remedial action where necessary.
- To ensure all administrative traffic duties are carried out as necessary and to a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
- To liaise with line management to ensure the effective use of hire vehicles / sub-contractors minimising the cost impact to the business.
- To ensure that details of vehicle accidents are escalated to line management.
- To ensure that defected vehicles are recorded on traffic sheets.
What You Need To Succeed At XPO
- Working knowledge of driver hours regulations.
- Good geographical knowledge of the UK.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
- Financial Understanding.
- Operational understanding of team roles.
