You’ll play a key part in ensuring daily transport operations run smoothly, making sure goods are collected and delivered on time and in line with customer expectations. You’ll be liaising with drivers, warehouse teams, customers, and third‑party carriers to keep everything on track.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Planning and coordinating daily transport schedules
- Allocating drivers and planning efficient delivery routes
- Preparing transport documentation and ensuring pre‑departure checks are completed
- Monitoring deliveries in real‑time using TMS, telematics, and GPS systems
- Acting quickly to resolve delays, traffic issues, or last‑minute changes
- Maintaining constant communication with drivers, teams, and customers
- Supporting loading operations, including moving machines into loading areas
- Assisting with compliance tasks such as tachograph checks, driver hours, and vehicle defect logging
- Supporting vehicle maintenance schedules and service bookings
About You
- Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
- Able to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Confident communicator who can build relationships across teams
- Experience within transport/logistics would be ideal
- FLT licence desirable (training provided if not)
