Pay, Benefits & Shift
£15.85 per hour. Shifts are on a rotational basis: Week 1 Monday‑Friday 05:00‑15:00, Week 2 Monday‑Thursday 12:00‑22:00, Friday 10:00‑20:00.
What You’ll Do On a Typical Day
- Load trailers and secure goods safely (full training provided).
- Work safely at all times.
- Perform trailer movements in a busy regional yard.
- Drive a tug on‑site; prior experience is an advantage.
- All work is yard based; no road work expected.
- Shunting experience required for manoeuvres in confined spaces.
What You Need To Succeed At XPO
- Flexible working hours.
- No prior experience required; full training will be provided.
- Ideally hold LGV/HGV C+E/Class 1 entitlement on licence.
- If trained yard shunter without HGV Class 1, we will upskill your current licence.
- No more than 6 points, with no DD or DR endorsements present.
