We’re looking for an experienced HGV Fitter/Mechanic to join us at our site in Rochester. You’ll be working Monday to Friday split into 2 shifts: 06.00 - 15.30 & 12.00 - 21.30. You’ll be working with an established team on a diverse range of vehicles and trailers including MAN, Renault & Mercedes.
We’ll need you to have your City & Guilds 1, 2 & 3 (or equivalent), experience in fault diagnosis and repair as well as stripping, fitting and replacing components. Preferably, you’ll have C+E entitlement on your licence; however, this isn’t essential. As the contract can have some irregularity of hours, you’ll need to have a flexible approach.

What You Need To Succeed At XPO
- Proven experience in an HGV Fitter/Mechanic role
- Relevant HGV mechanic qualification, such as BTEC or City & Guilds (desirable)
- A full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement (desirable)
